“A true and safe leader is one who has no desire to lead but is forced into leadership because of the overwhelming burden and responsibility.”

A.W. Tozer

At the AECC, we uphold the core doctrines of the Christian faith: truths affirmed throughout Scripture and embraced by evangelical believers across generations. On secondary issues, we choose unity over uniformity. Members are free to hold personal convictions as long as they honor the AECC Constitution and show grace toward others who may see things differently.

The AECC is more than a network: it is a recognized Christian Church body. Ministers credentialed through the AECC walk in the full rights, privileges, and responsibilities granted to clergy in established churches and ministries across the nation.

Who we serve:

AECC exists for ministers who are called, committed, and ready to go further in their walk with God and their work in the church.
Church Planters: You have a vision for a church that doesn't exist yet. AECC walks alongside you from the earliest stages of planting, providing training, pastoral support, and a network that believes in what God has called you to build. "From vision to launch, we're with you every step."

Frequently Asked Questions

Please review the following F.A.Q's and reach out if any of yours are not covered below!

What is the Licensing & Ordination Process?

If starting out the first step is to fill out the form to let us know you are interested in becoming licensed. We will then provide you with instructions on your next steps such as an ethics course, background check, references, interview, and application fee.

What is the difference between Licensure and Ordination?

Licensure is the recognition and authorization to begin serving in ministry under spiritual covering and development.

Ordination is the formal commissioning of a proven minister into established spiritual leadership and accountability.

Can I minister in places like hospitals and prisons?

Yes, licensed or ordained ministers are generally able to minister in places like hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, and jails under the organization’s spiritual covering and credentials. Weddings and Funerals are functions that are reserved for Ordained ministers only. Or by individual review and approval.

What are the expectations of a member?

Members are expected to profess faith in Jesus Christ, uphold the Bible as the inspired Word of God, agree with the AECC Articles of Faith, and demonstrate a genuine call to Christian ministry through a life of spiritual growth, service, integrity, and faithful support of the ministry.
